Admission: Process

Admissions for the academic year 2012-13 from LKG to Grade 12 are open.

School reopening date :21st June 2012

8.30 am - 2.45 pm for Primary level

8.30 am - 3.45 pm for Middle and Senior level

APL offers classes under CIE at all four levels:

Upper Secondary 16-18yrs International A and AS Level	Standards 11+
Middle Secondary 14-16yrs Cambridge IGCSE Cambridge	Standards 9+
Lower Secondary 11-14yrs Lower Secondary Programme	Standards 7+
Primary - 5-11yrs The Primary Programme	Standards 1+

Flexible Stream

Entry Level	Indian Boards class equivalents
Upper Secondary 16-18yrs International A and AS Level	Standards 11+
Middle Secondary 14-16yrs Cambridge IGCSE	Standards 9+
Lower Secondary 11-14yrs Lower Secondary Programme	Standards 7+

APL will be in a position to admit the student provided:

Level of preparedness and competencies are met.
At least 4 other students have also applied for the course.
Suitable and competent resource persons to teach and facilitate the course are available.

If APL is unable to offer the course for any or both of the above reasons, viable alternatives will be suggested.

All of the above courses will be offered at 2 paces of time cycles. The starting month of the courses is June.

Easy Track
When the minimum duration is 2 academic years, it is Easy Track. Students work at a convenient pace and are normally sent in for March - April examinations.
Fast Track
When it is at a minimum of 18 months it is Fast Track. APL permits students to take the courses at Fast Track pace subject to the following.
- Availability of tutor
- Availability of 4 or more in peer group
- Students in Fast Track are normally sent in for Nov - Dec exams, they work through the course during summer vacation too.

Interviews for parents and students will be by appointment
