APL is a school that offers Personalized Learning Solutions Personalized Learning is an alternative to the failings of 19th & 20th century class rooms which did not have the wherewithal to tune in to needs of individual learners.
Personalized learning answers two essential pedagogic needs:
- The need of learners to be viewed as unique persons who think, feel and learn in their own brain based styles and at their own pace.
- The need of the learning environment to move from traditional teacher led "one way fits all" approach and to become student-centric and life-oriented.

has been validated by 45 California public
charter schools.
